Committee on Maulid Nabiy holds seminar in Zaria. The committee on Maulid Nabiy held one day seminar at Husainiyyah Baqiyyatullah Zaria on Sunday the 30^th of October 2011.

  The seminar “Maulid Al-Nabiy as pillar of Islamic revival’  was attended many people including representatives from various localities.

Issues addressed during the meeting include arrangements on the coming Maulid programmes as well as reports from representatives.

In his speech the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria Sayyid Ibraheem Zakzaky he said the aim of the seminar is to discuss how to carry out the annual mauled gatherings in right manner and same pattern every where. He spoke also on the history of Maullid Al-Nabiyy and noted that Maulid is known in this part of the globe for centuries. He also reiterated his saying that it is with Maulid a change will be brought about in Nigeria.
