The Leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria Sayid Ibraheem Zakzaky condoles the followers of Ahlul Bayt (AS) on the martrydom Commemoration  of Imam Ridha(alahis Salam).

The 8th Imam was martyed on the 23rd  of Dhu Qeedah 203 Ah in Madina, according to some sources.

Sayyid Zakzaky expressed the condolence after weekly Tafsir programme at Baqiyyatullah Husainiyyah Zaria on Wednesday the 19th of October 2011.

Imam Ali Ar-Ridha is the son of Imam Musa son of  Imam Ja'far son of Imam Muhammad son of Imam Ali Zaynul Abidin son of Imam al-Husayn son of Imam Ali bn Abi Talib (A.S.), eighth in the series of the Imams belonging to the Ahl al-Bayt (A.S.). His birthplace is Medina, and his resting place is Mashad (Iran)
