Sister Maimuna Shehu hails from Layin Kosai, Kaduna metropolis. Until her martyrdom she was a student of Computer Science at Kaduna Polytechnic. Maimuna and her Sister Fauziyya Shehu were both murdered by Nigerian Army led by Buratai ordered by Buhari along with 1000+ Shiites at the residence of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky on 13/12/2015.
Their bodies have been buried in mass grave by Kaduna State Governor Elrufai.
