Hussainiyya Baqiyyatullah Project: Sayyid Muhammad embarks on sensitization visits + Pictures

As part of effort towards completion of Hussainiyyah Baqiyyatullah project in Zaria, Sayyid Muhammad Ibraheem has embarked on visit across cities to enlighten and encourage members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria on the need to donate towards completion of the project.


The Hussainiyyah Baqiyyatullah is the central place where the Islamic Movement in Nigeria under His Eminence Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) conducts its major programmes.

In Kaduna, Sayyid Muhammad explained that the visit became necessary in view of the slow pace of work, which said had been incurring greater cost in managing and maintaining the half-constructed structure.

He pointed out that, though the project is above fifty percent completion, fast-tracking the work will significantly the overall cost of the project and therefore called on members to donate to achieve the set objectives.

He further said, months of Muharram (Majalis) and Safar were chosen within which Brothers and Sister would be mobilized for the donation to attract greater reward in the service of Imam Husain (AS). “We use this period of mourning to please Imam Hussain and attract greater reward”, stated Sayyid Muhammad.

Commenting, Malam Mukhtar Sahabi also urged members to see the donation as a religious obligation, “We have to do it ourselves, as nobody would do it for us”.

He explained that, forms will be distribute among workers and business class who will pledge an amount to be paid in the specified bank account within the period of two months (Muharram and Safar), while daily contribution in the special boxes provided was on-going.

In Kano zone during the Muharram Majalis, Sayyid Muhammad called on Brothers and Sisters of the Movement to demonstrate the kind of sacrifice made by Imam Hussain (AS) in salvaging and uplifting the status of Islam and donate with the same purpose.
