How Mourners trek to Ashura Gathering in Kano

Muhammad Isa Ahmad went round the city of Kano to see Mourners trekking from various direction in Kano city to attend Ashura Mourning gathering at Fagge Jumaat Mosque, Kano.

He reported that most of the mourners went to the venue riding automobiles,cycles and bikes, however,  some trek to the majalis venue by foot- individually or in groups, from the various neighborhood within the city.

He happenned to meet Brother Muhammad who has acute paralysis of hand and leg, but used to trekk 5km from his house each day to attend mouring gathering of Imam Husain(AS).  When asked as to why he choose to trek, he mentioned that the tragedy of  Imam Husain in Karbala and his followers motivate him to trek to the venue. During the last Year Arbaeen Muhammad Trek the 5 day, 145km from Kano to Zaria to attend the Yaumul Arbaeen.
