Evening of Friday, 23rd Zulhijjah 1435 (17/10/2014), members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria under the guardianship of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) in Bauchi converged at the city Open Air Theatre to commemorate Eidel Ghadeer which drew large spectators and held the public captive throughout the period.

The occasion was made more interesting with theatre performance of Ghadeer event by I.M. Production crew, which held public attention and sent across the expression of Wilayat of Ali (AS). The performance was complemented by songs and poetry recitation that expressed the divine status of Ameerul Mu’mineen (AS) and what transpired at Ghadeer Khum.
Ameer of Bauchi zone, Malam Ahmad Yusuf Yashi gave brief background on events prior to the Ghadeer Khum declaration in which the Holy Prophet lifted the hand of Imam Ali (AS) to the view of thousands of people and made the following historic declaration: “For whoever I am his Master, this Ali should be his Master”.

After the occasion, a grand dinner was also organized as a mark of honour to the day of expression of Wilayat. Similar occasion to commemorate the day was organized in various local governments across Bauchi state.
