Guards celebrate Nisf Sha’aban in Kano

Hurras(Guards) of the IMN on Saturday 21st Sha’aban 1437 (28/5/2016) celebrated Maulidin Sahibul Zaman (AF). The group celebration comprises of  Sayyida Az Zahra(AS) Zone, Imam Husain (AS) Zone, Imam Zainul Abideen(AS) Zone, and Imam Ja’afar (AS) Zone and took place at Kano markaz, Kofar Waika, Kano.  

Shaikh Yaquob Yahya was the special guest at the occasion and spoke on Sahibul Asr wazzaman, Imam Mahdi (AF) whose maulud is celebrated while encouraging on all to draw themselves closer to Allah (T) by following the dictates of Allah (T) like it is exemplified by leader Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) who also was born on 15th Sha’aban and is unjustly held by the Nigerian government with no charges since the Zaria December 12-14th 2015 Zaria massacre.

Hurras have undertaken various voluntary and community services at various zones among which include provision and rehabilitating of bore holes, sanitary works, rehabilitation of burial ground, traffic management etc.

Different competitions that include Quranic recitation, Quiz, Written Essay on Imam Mahdi (AF) and poems were held at the national and zonal levels during the occasion. In the national Quranic competition Amirul Muminen (AS) Zone were first with Imam Zainul Abideen (AS) second and third. Also at national quiz competition Imam Hasan(AS) Zone were first, Amirul Muminen (AS) zone second and  Imam Zainul Abideen (AS) third. At the North East zone in the written essay competition Sayyida Az Zahra (SA) was victorious, Second was Imam Ja’afar (AS) zone and Imam Zainul Abideen (AS) third. While in the poem competition, Imam Zainul Abideen (AS) were victorious, with Sayyida Az Zahra (SA) zone second and Imam Ja’afar being third.

The maulud celebration was closed by a closing prayer from Shaikh Yaquob Yahya.
