Ghadeer Celebration at Kano Fudiyyah School Kano

Fudiyyah School Kano which comprises of  Tahfiz, Nursery and Primary as well as it’s secondary school celebrated Eidul Ghadeer with the school pupils, parents and guests and members of public in attendance.

The event took place on Tuesday 18th Zul Hijjah 1437 (20th September, 2016) at the primary school premises and on Saturday 29th Zul Hijjah, 1437 (October 1st, 2016) at the Secondary School Premises.  Mal Imam Yaquob was the guest speaker.
Ghadeer was celebrated with variety of activities among which include competitions,  games, quiz on Ghadeer, dramas etc. in which winners were given different prizes.
Alhaji Mustapha Umar Baba and some members of Ittihadul Shu’arah beautified the Eidul Ghadeer with various songs of Ghadeer, Imam Aliy (AS) and many other eloquent songs.  Special prayers were recited for the founder of the school Shaheed Muhammad Mahmoud Turi, Shaheed Abdul Razak Abdullahi Abbas and Shaheed M Haruna teachers at the school as well as Former head boy of the school Shaheed Muhammad Aminu and a Student of the school Hujjatullah Muhammad Bashir Taura who were killed by the Nigerian Army during the December 12-14th 2015 Zaria massacre.
In his speech at the event Mal Imam highlighted om the event that took place after the farewell Pilgrimage at Ghadeer where the Noble Prophet (SAWA) mentioned his “wasi”, ie successor after him Ameerul Mu’umineen Imam Aliy bn Abi Talib(AS) quoting a few reference were many of the Prophet’s companions undertook pledges to uphold the dictate of Allah (T). Likewise he also highlighted various lessons from the event of Ghadeer calling on all Muslims to follow this right part.
Mal Auwal Shamsu the Headmaster and Mal Mukhtar Giginyu the Principal extended their thanks and well wishes for contributory role of all in seeing the success of the programme.
Walima were served and closing prayers that marked the end of this year’s Eidul Ghadeer.
