Ghadeer 1438 Celebration in Zaria

The Eid Ghadeer was celebrated in Zaria on Saturday the 18th of Dhul Hijjah 1438 (9/9/17). The gathering was attended by thousands of people where they listened to lectures of Ghadeer. Ghadeer is celebrated world wide by Muslims followers of Ahlulbayt (AS) as the Imam Ali bn Abi Talib (alaihis salam) was appointed by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his household) as his successor and the Leader of the Muslim Ummah after him

 which occurred at a place called Ghadeer Khum on 18th of Dhul Hijjah, thus the name Eid Ghadeer
