Fudiyyah Nursery and Primary School Hayin Dogo Samaru Zaria, Thursday (16th October, 2014), received boost with a donation of 2 sets of Desk Top Computer, a HP colour printer and a three-in-one HP photocopy machine from a Zaria based philanthropic Malam Maikudi Muhammad Samaru.
The donation was as a result of academic excellence demonstrated by the school in Samaru area, testified by residents.
In his speech while receiving the donation, the school headmaster Malam Bello Hamza expressed appreciation for the donation, saying the computer and its accessories would go a long way in facilitating teaching to the pupils.
He also said, it will avail the pupils the opportunity to interact with computer system at a very tender age, and will also save the school enormous resources in the printing of examination materials and other school documents.
Speaking earlier, the donor Malam Maikudi Muhammad Samaru disclosed that urged wealthy individuals to contribute towards raising the standard of education in the society.
He pointed out that, investment in education is the only lasting legacy one can leave behind to children and the society.
