Free Zakzaky Protest in Bauchi

Brothers and Sisters of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria have staged on today Friday, February 17 2017, peaceful protest in Bauchi State calling on the Acting President Prof Yemi Osinbajo to obey court order and release their leader Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and his wife Malama Zenatudden Ibraheem. 

The protest kick-off at Ajiya Adamu juma’at Mosque , passed through Tashan Babiye Road, passed Wunti Get, forward to Amir’s Palace and ended at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Graves in Bauchi.
Carrying posters and banners of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky with inscriptions Free Zakzaky on them, members of the movement concluded their protest with a speech by Mal. Umar Sa’idu Gani Liman Katagum. He called on the acting President to set a good precedence by obeying court order to release Shaikh Zakzaky.
