In the name of Allah the Almighty, the Beneficent the most Merciful, praise be to Allah the Lord of the world. Humanity is a human race which includes everyone on the earth, its also a word for the quality that make us human, such as the ability to love, and to have compassion , to be creative and not a zombie or alien as a citizen.
It refers to the kind of feelings human often have for each other.
Furthermore, the prophet of Islam is reported to have said that: “fill your heart with love, mercy and kindness towards your people and do not be with them like beast waiting for the opportunity to eat them because people are of two kinds either your brothers in religion or your brother in humanity”.
Sadly! Here in Nigeria, we are killed with bullets and explosives by the people who are paid to protect our lives, dignity and properties.
You would all recall that on 12th — 13th December 2015 the Nigerian Army lunches a genocidal attack on innocent people of Islamic Movement in Nigeria and its leader Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky(H) in Zaria, Kaduna State.
During the attack, the Nigerian Army violated moral and human right as they shoot sporadically killing everyone at sight. During the assault neither women nor children were spared. They also went ahead and burnt both the wounded and the dead.
To cover their atrocities, the Nigerian Army went ahead and bury hundreds of the killed in a mass grave and illegally detained many others and denied any access to them including the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and his wife Malama Zeenah Ibrahim with multiple gun shots on them.
In conclusion, as we remain determined to justice and fairness for the crime committed against humanity to its logical conclusion ,we equally reiterate our demand for the unconditional release of our leader Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and our brothers illegally detained, release of the corpses of our brothers and sisters for the proper Islamic burial.
Finally, I want to use this medium to thank you all especially the men of press and other social activist. We remain gratefully.
