Kano, Nigeria on Friday the 30thDecember, 2016 witnessed a large turnout demanding for the uncodntional release of Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) as they condemned oppression. Conscious Nigerian citizens in Kano also sympathised with the Islamic movement in Nigeria and calling on the government of Nigeria to stop all forms of tyranny and oppression against the Sheikh and his followers.
The protest was led by Mal Sunusi AbdulKadir Koki after the Friday prayers from Fagge Mosque in central Kano thruogh major streets carrying banners calling for the unconditional and immediate release of the leader of the IMN Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) who has been illegally held in custody for over a year. A High Court in Abuja has delivered a Judgement for the release of Sheikh Zakzaky within 45 days in addition to comepensation. The court Judgement will elapse in less than 3 weeks now.
The protest ended peacefully.
