Does Nigerian Govt respect its Constitution

By Muhammad Isa
Rally demanding for the unconditional release of Shaikh
Ibraheem Zakzaky (H)  continued in  Kano Protest Rally on Friday 20th Sha’aban 1437 (May 27th,2016) at Fagge Friday Mosque.

In the speech delivered at the rally, Mal Sunusi AbdulKadir Koki reiterated the demand of the IMN for the unconditional release of Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) who has been in the hands of the Nigerian Security agency since the Zaria December 12-14th Massacre killing 1000+ followers of the Shaikh (H) that include women and children and has not been charged for any crime committed.

Mal Sunusi also pointed out that people wait to see if the Nigerian government respects its law of giving all citizen his/her right and freedom to practice his/her religion; and right to justice by all the citizens.

Sheikh Sanusi said "No rule of Law guaranties Killing of hundreds of its Citizen just because a service chief has been blocked. No rule of law has guaranties stealing properties of its citizens, destruction of their properties, burning alive of its citizens or their dead bodies and their illegal burying in a single mass grave because a service chief road passage has been blocked."

He further said "Where is the rule of Law? Nigerian has seen and recorded this form of its brutality during the regime of President Muhammad Buhari."

Since the brutal attack on the Muslim brothers and sisters of IMN,  the IMN is using all avenues and procedures provided by the  Nigerian constitution to seek for redress.

And Justice most prevail. Following this norms doesn’t illustrate his followers are afraid and can’t stand with their Leader. We shall always stand by what is right and say no to oppression, no to injustice.
