The 3- day mourning gathering of the Leader of All Women of the worlds Sayyidah Fatimah Az-Zahra(salamullah alaiha (SA)) began at Husainiyyah Baqiyytaullah Zaria on Saturday the 13th of J/Ula 1435(15/3/14).
The gathering was attended by large number of people. The opening lecture was delivered by Sheikh Muhammad Mahmod Turi who started his lecture by describing the significance of mourning gathering; he explained the many blessings for those who mourn the martyrdom and sufferings of Ahulhbayt(AS).
In another part of his speech Sheikh Turi further explained the virtues and lofty status of Sayyidah Zahra(SA) since her conception in the womb of Sayyidah Khadeejah(AS) and her subsequent birth.
Prior to her conception the Prophet was ordered by God to fast for forty consecutive days and to isolate himself from his family, he noted.
In one of the sayings of the Prophet (SAWA), he said ‘Fatimah (SA) is of me he who hurts her has hurt Allah’.
In another report “God is pleased with whom pleases her…” These Sayings and similar ones point to her special status with God and of course that of her husband and children whom love for them guarantees permission to heaven.
Family life of Fatimah Az-Zahra(SA) is outstanding example as she never complained to Imam Ali(AS) about lacking anything for the household.
Her being infallible shows her status with God in Purity and nearness as well as her effort at all time is guiding people on the right path. Her role in Makka, despite her small age, in defending the Prophet against hurts of Abu Jahil and others is a good example. For this the prophet called her “Umm Abiha (the mother of her father)”.
Sheikh Turi further explained that Sayyidah made a request during her marriage in place of her dowry that she should be given permission to intercede for people on the Day of Judgment for her love and concern for the ummah. She is an embodiment of Taqwa in both action and speech. Her lofty status may surprise someone when he gets to know her age- he was just about 18 before departing the world.
Sheikh Turi noted that her calamity is the calamity of the prophet as he said he who hurts her hurts him.
Attack in her house and braking of her door is an example of hurting the prophet in the name of forcing Imam Ali to pay allegiance. She never paid allegiance to anybody except Imam Ali who Allah has chosen.
Her agony after the demise of her father followed by calamities directed to her and members of her ahlulbayt(AS) did not stop her from resisting unbelief and misguidance. Her courage in reminding people in Madina regarding the Imamate of Imam Ali(AS) is commendable.
One important question which requires an answer by anyone is “where will be my abode after death?”. Whoever is save from hell fire attained everlasting bliss and the bliss is found in loving and following her and her Ahlulbayt(AS).
After the Maghrib Prayer led by Sheikh Zakzaky upon his return back to Nigeria from Iran where he attended a confernece, he delivered another speech on the lofty status of Sayyidah Fatimah Az-Zahra(SA). He started by condoling the gathering on the martrydom of Sayyidah Fatimah Az-Zahra (SA). Her suffering, though not known by many, does not mean it did not occur. Lack of knowledge about a incident cannot negate it, Sheikh Zakzaky noted.
Sayyidah encountered the highest form of trial and difficulties which, by wisdom and justice, entitled her to the lofty status with God.
She was denied all of her rights when she claimed and all witnessed she presented were not accepted by the usurpers. Not only that, all hadeeths from her were not reported, though, she was with her father at all times. Rejection of her sayings could not cover up the truth whatsoever. They even claimed that she did not have any hadeeth because to accept her hadeeth will uncover many hidden matters.
