Conference of Moon Citing Held in Zaria

Conference of Moon Citing was organised in Zaria on Tuesday the 18th of June 2020. Speakers include Hujjatul Islam Sheikh Shuaibu Muhammad who spoke on Moon Citation from Islamic Sharia Point of View and Mallam Sani Ra’is Funtua who spoke on Moon Citation from Astronomical Point of View. 

Other speakers were Sheikh Abdulhamid Bello Zaria and Sheikh Ibraheem Aqeel. The need for the conference is to clear misconception and controversies  regrading the citing of the Months of Ramdan and Shawwal every year.
