As part of continuous efforts to strengthen the good understanding and peaceful coexistence among interfaith in Kaduna, members of Academic Forum of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria leads by Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, Kaduna chapter, have paid a heart felt visit to Rev. Istifanus Musa of Ecwa Goodnews Church, Karji, Kaduna.
The visiting crew which comprised male and female students drawn from different tertiary institutions of higher learning in Kaduna, Academicians from such institutions paid the visit to his Church, Ecwa Goodnews, located at Pasture Garden, Karji, Kaduna at about 10:00a.m. on Christmas day, Tuesday, 25/12/2018.
The visiting crew were warmly received by Rev. I. Musa, Church council and its other members. After a solemn introduction of the visitors, Dr. Shu’aibu Musa, a senior lecturer, presented a paper expounding the purpose of the visit.
"We are here, as we usually do over the years in various places, to felicitate with you on the auspicious occasion of the birth of Jesus(AS) whom we also so much love and cherish. Christmas is one the most important days in the Christians Calendar, and many Christians celebrate the religious significance of this day. We are here to merry with you on the birth of he whose return has been foretold by our Prophet(SAWW) to herald the appearance of the awaited one, Imam Mahadi(ATF). Both, we are told in our scriptures, will return to fill the Earth with justice, even as it is presently filled with tyranny and oppression."

Dr. Shua’ibu also traced a brief history of Prophet Muhammad’s reception by Christians of Najran during his era, when he migrated from Mecca to Medina with a few of his faithful followers.
He cited various speeches of the Holy Prophet to the Christians of his time at different covenants, where eventually explained that, none of the Muslims is to disobey this covenant till the Last Day.
At the visit, Malam Ammar Dan Tinka, a member from Poem Forum of the Movement recited a poem in honour of the birth Day of Jesus(AS) and Imam Mahadiy(AS) the saviours.
All the scriptures revealed by Allah had foretold the coming back of Jesus and Imam Mahadiy(AS) before the Last day.
Earlier on, Rev. Istifanus Musa expressed his sincere appreciation for the visit which he said, "Is a special reverence to him, his Church members and all Christians in advance".
In the lung run, some of the Church council Pastor Silver Musa, Elder Musa Aribi and Rev. I. Musa expressed their compassionate feelings over the continued illegal detention of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and his wife. They therefore, offered a special prayer for the immediate release of leader of the Islamic Movement, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky(H).
This was not the first time different forums of the Movement are paying heart felt visits to different Christians fellow across Nigeria for a peaceful and good relation among.
