Christmas: Applause As Followers of Sheikh Zakzaky Sing Jesus Songs In Kaduna Church

There was a rapturous applause at the ECWA GOODNEWS (PASTURE GARDEN), Karji, Kaduna as members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria joined Christian faithful to felicitate with Christian friends and neighbours, and in the process sang songs eulogizing Jesus. The congregation was sent to ecstasy as they heard the Muslims talk of the return of Jesus.

Earlier, the team lead of the Muslim visitors to the church, Shuaibu Musa, had explained the reasons for their presence on Christmas day. “We are here to merry with you on the birth of he whose return has been foretold by our Prophet (SAWA) to herald the appearance of the awaited one, Imam Mahdi (ATF),” he said.

Explaining further, Shuaibu said the return of both Jesus and Imam Mahdi has been foretold in the scriptures, and that they would work together to fill the Earth with justice, even as it is presently filled with tyranny and oppression.
The Islamic Movement therefore called on all Christians to team up with the Movement in its struggles against tyranny and oppression so as to lay a good foundation for both Jesus (AS) and Imam Mahdi (ATF), so that on their return, they would “see us prepared to assist them in their Divine mandate.”

He said it was not the first time that they would be attending Churches on Christmas day as this type of interfaith harmony between Christians and Muslims was exemplified by the founder of Islam himself. “It is indeed not a new phenomenon,” he said, citing many covenants Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) entered with the Christians during his mission on Earth.

The Islamic Movement members therefore concluded that, “The bond of fellowship between us can only wax stronger to impress the admirers and confound our common enemies,” perhaps in clear reference to a charade recently by the Kaduna state governor, in one of his campaign video clips that has gone viral that members of the Islamic Movement are non-Muslims because they associate with Christians.

Other highlights of the visit included a special prayer offered for the quick release of the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky, who has this November spent three years of illegal detention.
