Bodies of Three Martyrs of July 2019 handed Over to the Islamic Movement

The bodies of people killed by the Nigerian security forces on 22nd of July 2019 while conducting Pro Zakzaky protest at Federal Secretariate Abuja were handed over to the Followers of Sheikh Zakzaky on Tuesday.

Following a press conference held by the Islamic Movement this week and making its stand to take Inspector General of Police to Court on the issue, three bodies were handed over to the Islamic Movement for proper burial on Tuesday the 4th of October 2022.
The corpses were taken away by the security forces on 22nd of July 2019 after opening fire with live ammunitions on the peaceful protesters Infront of the Federal Secretariate, Abuja.
The Martyrs are:
1) Shaheed Suleiman Shehu
2) Shaheed Bilyaminu Abubakar Faska
3) Shaheed Yakubu Yahaya Faska

The burial of the martyrs is scheduled to take place on Wednesday the 5th of October 2022 (9th Rabi’ul Auwal, 1444).
