An Attack by fully armed soldiers on the residence of the Leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky on 14th of June 2014 at around 1am was repelled.
The soldiers, in six vans (hilux) , came to Gyallesu where the residence of the Sheikh Zakzaky is located. Upon their arrival they were noticed as they approached the house and therefore confronted by the Guards who were manning the area. Having understand thier evil plan, the Guards, joined by other people in the area, kept shouting ‘Ya Mahdi’, ‘Allahu Akbar’ at the top of their voices. The soldiers, who were seen wearing masks, were terribly panic and confused as Allahu Akabr and Ya Mahdi filled the air. They ran with their vehicles on the reverse gear as thier mission failed. As they took to their heels they fired shots into the air. A report had earlier indicated a plan by Nigerian Security Operatives and their foreing masters to eliminate Sheikh Zakzaky.
