Ashura 1440: Massive Mourning Procession Stage in Kaduna

Annual Ashura Mourning Procession took place in Kaduna on Thursday the 10th of Muharram 1440 (20/9/18). Thousands took to the street to commemorate the killing of Imam Husain alaihis salam by Yazid (LA). 

Ashura is a solemn day of mourning the martyrdom of Imam Hussein Ibn Ali in 680 AD at Karbala in modern-day IraqThe world wide peaceful procession is marked in cities and town in Nigeria just like the rest of the world.
