Martyr Ali Zakariya’u Asadullah was laid to rest today the Wednesday the 2nd of October 2018 in his tome town Potiskum, Yobe state. The funereal prayer, led by Sheikh Dr Sanusi Abdulkadir, was attended by hundreds of people.
He attained martyrdom on Monday the 1st of October 2018 of injuries he suffered as result of shooting with live bullets by the Nigerian soldiers on peaceful Ashura Mourners on 10th of Muharram in Potiskum. He spent 10 days in hospital. Until his martyrdom Asadullah, was a 300 level student in the University studying B.Sc Chemistry.
