Ashura 1440: Infants Day marked in Kano

 International Day of Infants in memory of Abdullahi radhi (Aliyu Asgar) was marked in Kano, Nigeria. On the plain of Karbala the son of Imam Ali by Abdullahi was killed by Harmala who shot the sukcling child with arrow as Imam Husain (AS) pleaded for water for the child. The child was killed him instantly.

 The day is marked as Day of Infants by Muslims around the world during Ashura gatherings. Each year, women with their infants participate in the great mourning ceremonies to commemorate his martyrdom.
