Arba’een Symbolic Trek to Husainiyya Takes off From Kaduna

Kaduna zone of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria have today, 30/11/2015, staged a mass trek from Kaduna to Husainiyya Baqiyyatullah, Zaria, for Yaumul Arba’een. The long trek which is about 75km kicked up from T/Wada Kaduna, the city center of Kaduna, 

passed through Ibrahim Taiwo Road to Dutsinma Street and finally to Namdi Azziky Way (Kaduna Express Way) to Zaria.

Leader of the trek, the Ameer of the zone, Sheikh Muhammad Mukhtar Sahabi addressed the trekkers and news men the reason of undertaking the trek to Husainiyya.  Among attendants in the trek, include Pastor Yohanna Buru of Evangelical Church Sabon Tasha Kaduna.

The trek troop comprise brothers and sisters from various sub-zones among which include: Kaduna, Abuja, Suleja, Minna, Udawa, Ayimba, Kogi, Lokoja, Lagos, Mararrabar Jos, Kafanchan and so on.
