Annual lecture on the Birth Commemoration of Sayyada Fatima (AS) in Abuja/picture

The Central Business District of Abuja was colourful and busy on Sunday 1st Rajab, 1436 (19/04/2015) were people from different direction trooped to National Mosque Abuja for the Annual Public Lecture on Birth (Maulid) Commemoration of Sayyada Fatimatu Zahra (AS) organised by the Sisters Forum of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria

 under the leadership of His Eminence, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H); with Malama Zeenatuddeen Ibraheem as Lecturer at the Occasion.



While welcoming participants to the programme, Malama Aisha Nuhu thanked the participants for attending. The programme was started at 10:45am with prayers by Malama Amina Abdullahi, Qur’anic Recitation by  Malama Fatima Bashir, Reading Ziyaraat of Sayyada (AS) by Malama Maijidda Dalhatu, and followed by Lecture Presentation. 



In her lecture Malama Zeenatuddeen started with reminding the participants the purpose of creation of humanity and trick of Shaytaan (LA). She discussed extensively how Allah (SWT) sent prophets time by time in order to educate people about purpose of creation and message of God. Malama mentioned that the prophets have done their jobs by educating people about the message, reminding them rewards for accepting the message and consequences waiting for those that reject the teaching of the message. 



Malama Zeenat reiterated that from the beginning, this world started with prophets and continue to be with either prophet or successor of the prophet, she added that "this world has never been in existence without Hujjat (proof of Allah) on earth". Then Malama asked an intelligent questions to the participant: "Since the message of Prophet Muhammad (S) was encapsulated in the Holy Qur’an, who is the Hujjat that the Holy Prophet left for us to explain the Qur’an to us"?



Malama informed the participants that before the demise of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S), he appointed the husband of Sayyada Fatimat Zahra (AS) in the person of Imam Ali bn Abi Talib (AS) as his successor who will continue to educate this society the teaching of the Message and man the affair of the (Ummah) society.



Malama further explained that the Holy Prophet (S) did not only appointed Imam Ali (AS) as his successor but rather told the society that after Imam Ali his successors should be sons of Sayyada Fatimat Zahra (AS), Imam Hassan bn Ali (AS), followed by Imam Hussaini bn Ali (AS), followed by Imam Ali bn Hussaini (AS) and continue Imam after Imam up to the Imam of this time, Imam Mahdi (ATFS).



She also called the attention of people that Islam is a complete way of life, hence Islam can only be practice completely or 100 percent under Islamic Government. 



While outlining lessons to be learn from the life of Sayyada Fatima (AS). Malama Zeenat mentioned that Sayyada Fatima (AS) stand firm on right path and challenge injustice. Malama also assured people that whenever the people of this country stand firm on right path, challenge injustice and put Islam as their choice for the system to govern their life, definitely the country will revert to the system of their choice.
