Academic Forum, Kogi Chapter held One-day programme on Maulid/pics

The Academic Forum of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (AFIMN) Kogi state chapter organized a one- day programme on the 24^th Jimada Ula 1436 A.H (15^th March ,2015) in remembrance of the Birthdays anniversaries of the Noble Prophet of Islam Muhammad(S)

 and his beloved daughter Sayiydah Zahra(s.a)

The theme of the programme was PROPHET MUHAMMD(S); THE BEACON OF MORDERN CIVILIZATION.

The programme took place at Faculty of Law, Kogi State University , it begins with opening prayers , recitation of the Holy Qur’an by Sister Muniran and brother Heneef Ali  , Ziyarat by Malam Musa Aliyu and introduction of guests and personalities .

Welcome address was presented by brother Mika’il Yunus ,the Academic Forum President Kogi State Chapter. He started by thanking Allah(T) saying “ With all sense of humility and Great  Adoration to the only One whom all perfect attributes , Who beget nor He is begotten, the Guide of he who has no guide, the Helper he who has no help…, the All Mighty Allah”. A special poem was also dedicated to the Noble Prophet and his pure household by brother Bashir Shu’aib , a student of Federal Poly technique Idah . The opening speech was given by the Chairman of the occasion Malam Ahmad Bello Ankpa , aimed at preparing the minds of the participants to be focused and devoid of all all sort of Phobias against Islam and the Noble Prophet of Islam .The guest speaker , Ustaz Musa Muhammad Okene discussed extensively on Prophet Muhammad(S) and his pure household as the source and generators of modern civilization. Ustaz Musa prayed for the Leader of the African Ummah, the prince of Africa , the lover of peace and humanity , the Leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria ,Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky(H) for his effort and sacrifice towards guiding the entire Ummah to the right path. He further said that his leader Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzay is a pivot of Unity  not only among the Muslims  but the entire Nigerians and African societies.

The National Chairman of the Academic Forum, brother and also the august visitor , Brother Shu’aib Isa Ahmad bridged the lectures delivered and contributions. He disused clearly on the general trend of knowledge and civilization  at present as well as the past and present state of the Muslim Ummah.

A beautiful Cake was cut in honor, respect and 100 percent allegiance to the Holy Prophet Muhammad(S) by the National Chairman of the Academic Forum of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria.

Other personalities recorded were Alhaji Sulaiman Dantsoho of NACOMIO , Alhaji Muhammd Yassen, Mr. Ojide Mathias and Miss Endurance Onoja from the Christian Communities  who carved out time to attend Maulud of Prophhet Muhammd(S).

 

Malam Musa Haroon and Malam Ahmad Bello brought  the programme to a close at about 3:45 pm closing prayer.
