The Islamic Vocational Course(IVC) program being organized by brothers and sisters of Academic Forum of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Kaduna chapter, have been concluded today Sunday 21/4/2019.
It is a termly program being organized during every Schools’ vacation. The program drawn participants from various Primary and Secondary Schools across Kaduna and environs. It also invites learned persons from various institutions of higher laerning, who delivered lectures on different topics that would draw the participants towards the aims and objectives of the Islamic Movement, as well as, the role they are supposed to be played as students in Secondary and tertiary institutions, being followers of the Islamic Movement.
This term’s event began on Friday 19/4/2019, and was wrapped up today Sunday 21/4/201. It took place at new and permanent site of Fudiyyah Primary School, Marabar Jos, along Kaduna to Zaria express way, Kaduna.
During the 3-day event, different speakers delivered lectures on different topics among which include moral ethics, guiding and counselling, concept of the Islamic Movement, vail(Hijab) as the Islamic mode of dressing, etc.
Also, the program aimed at motivating, guiding pupils and students at Primary and Secondary levels towards making a better choice from different field of study.
A competition on ctretive arts was also carried out to serve as preparation for engineering discipline.
At closing, the head of the Kaduna unit, Sheikh Aliyu Umar Turmidhi was the speaker that delivered closing remarks.He commented on the various topics discussed and eventually called on the participants to add more grease to their elbows towards their studies.
According to him, "Education is the pride of every society and serve as a tool for confronting the current challenges of enemies Islam and humanity".
He enumerated speeches, pieces of advice of Commander of the faithfuls Imam Aliyu Ibn Abi Talib(AS) in search of knowledge
