24th of Biennial Conference by Youth Forum Held in Kano

The 24th 2-Day Youth Forum of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria Biennial conference was held in Kano city, Nigeria at Imam Aliy Al-Ridha Hussainiyah, from Friday 5th – Sunday 7th Jimadal Ula, 1440 (11th- 13th January, 2019) with participants from different part of Nigeria and neighboring countries.

Distinguished guest speakers during the conference include Shaikh Sunsui AbdulKadir Koki who spoke on The Importance of the Seeking Knowledge to Muslim Youths, Mal Sa’id Ibrahim B/kudu spoke on The goal of Islamic Movement In Nigeria, while Dr Shuaib Musa spoke on The role played by Western countries and Saudi Arabia in trying to destroy the Islamic movement in Nigeria.
A renowned Christian Cleric Pastor Yohana Buru spoke on Expectation of cordial Relationship and Unity between Christians and Muslims in Nigeria: Lessons from the Islamic Movement in Nigeria. More so, Malama Maimuna Abdullahi spoke on Principles, rules and Ethics of Friendship amongst youths as well of that of marriage. Other activities during the conference included, Prayer sessions, a review of activities of Youth and challenges in Abuja Struggle, Debate on the role of education and funds in Islamic revivalism and short drama session drawing attention of Youths on tasks and challenges facing families of our Martyred and expectations on us.
Shaikh Yaquob Yahya Katsina was the special guest speaker at the closing session on Sunday 7th Jimadal Ula, 1440 with Shaikh Sunusi Abdulkadir Koki as a special guest. Alh Ado Umar the chairman of the forum gave a highlight of events held at the conference stating this is yet another conference that this present government has denied us the privilege of our leader Shaikh Zakzaky (H) closing the session with his memorable teachings. Shaikh Sunusi Abdulkadir introduce Shaikh Yaquob as the the special guest speaker.
Shaikh Yaquob in his speech at the closing session reviewed topics discussed at the conference highlighting expectations to be seen in our Youths in the quest for knowledge, their commitment to struggle in seeing the upliftment of Allah’s supremacy in this world. He also discussed attempts and efforts of the world arrogant is seeing its quench the light to our return to Allah by our leader Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) which insha Allah will never be successful. Our Noble Prophet (SAWA) has shown us how relationship between Muslim and Christian should be citing historical examples of migration of Prophet’s Sahaba to Emperor Najashi of Ethiopia highlighted by Shaikh Yaquob. He also showed how Shaikh Zakzaky (H) has emulated and shown this as testified by various Christians living in this country. On issues of marriage amongst us Shaikh Yaquob urged for a more concerted effort in seeing the reductions of various matrimonial and family problems suggesting at one time he had suggested seeing those getting married should be certified knowing they know their expectations being part of the family as a Husband, Wife, Father and Mother.
Shaikh Yaquob had also urged followers of Shaikh Zakzaky to put concerted effort in seeing our leader Shaikh Zakzaky (H) is librated from illegal custody since after December 2015 Zaria massacre. This effort is compulsory and a most on all followers of Shaikh Zakzaky. He closed his speech with prayers in seeing Shaikh Zakzaky (H) being with us at the next closing session of the conference.
