            Mal Muhammad Turi paid a courtesy call on Prof Dahiru Yahaya  to his residence on Sunday 15th Jumadal Ula 1430. He was heartily and warmly received on his arrival at  by Prof Dahiru and his guest Mal Hassan Dahiru, Mal Badamasi and Mal Makama.

            While commenting on the state of affairs of contemporary Islam and Muslim today, Prof Dahiru opined the pinnacle to the change of affairs is rooted in the fear of Allah  and the search for knowledge and its practical application. He went further to express that this will form the basis for grassroot reawakening and the resultant change to the society. The lessons from the revolutionary path of Iran and its subsequent establishment some 30 years ago is indeed  a scenario to be adopted by all Muslim stated the Prof.

            The Prof also mentioned he was impressed with the activities of the Islamic movement in Nigeria citing an experience he had when he last visited a Maulid occasion organised by the Movement in Kano where the organisation and the attention of participant was centered around revolutionary path.

He also commended the effort of the leader of Islamic movement in Nigeria Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) for the call to unity amongst Muslims. He also expressed that despite the fact that Islam is not running the affairs of the Ummah, the hearts of individuals are filled with the quest for Al-Islam to run their affairs.

            Despite the decadence in Nigeria today with all forms of injustice, atrocities, corruption etc the gathering at the visitation express hope in the present call of the Shaikh Zakzaky (H) because it has reawaken the Muslim Ummah today after  long slumber. Muslims are today no longer shy or afraid to express themselves as Muslim but are proud to be associated with it even within the corridors of power, voiced out Prof Dahiru.

             Prof Dahiru warmly bid farewell to the visitation team after a short prayer from Mal Muhammad Turi.
