Academic Forum Pays a Homage to Dr. J. Danfulani on Christmas Day PDF Print E-mail

Today, Sunday 25th of December, 2016, a retinue of Kaduna chapter of Academic Forum of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria under the spiritual leadership of his eminence, Sayyid Ibraheem El-Zakzaky(H) paid a homage to Christians fellow in Kaduna.

The brothers and sisters under the co-ordination of Malam Saminu, chairman Academic Forum Kaduna, made the visit to the Church of Dr. J. Dafulani, Albarka Fellowship Baptist Church, Stephen Rijo Shekari Avenue, Kaduna. They were warmly received and welcomed by Rev. Yusuf Gwada, Rev. Solomon Audu.

In his welcoming address, Rev. Y. Gwada expressed appreciation for the visit and recommended the noble effort of leader of the Movement, Sayyid Zakzaky. He therefore described the visit as a glorious one to the entire members of the church and a continued effort by Sayyid Ibraheem Zakzaky to bring about a good interfaith understanding and harmonious coexistence in Nigeria.
Dr. Jhone Danfulani, a renowned leftist an a sympathizer to the Islamic Movement in Nigeria(IMN) sought for the visit and also expressed thankfulness for honouring their Christians fellow on this auspicious day of Christmas. "I am a fighter of freedom, and a friend, as well a sympathizer to the IMN for over 30 years ago. It is a peaceful Movement with leadership and good philosophy. This visit by Muslims fellow from IMN is not an unprecedented one, it is a global philosophy by Muslims of conscience, which is similarly and concurrently taking place in Syria, Iraqi, Iran and other parts of the World". Added Dr. J. Danfulani.
In his address to the retinue of the IMN, Rev. Y. Gwada explained in brief and concise the necessity for mutual understanding among inter-faiths in Nigeria. He described IMN as a peaceful organization in Shi'a Islam and, an organization having a philosophy that always yearn for good understanding and peaceful co-existence among different ethnic groups in Nigeria. He therefore prayed for the Movement for following court's order by Nigerian government to release Sayyid Ibraheem Zakzaky.
In the lung run, a special card of season greeting in the name of IMN was offered to the entire faithful members of the church. The visit was indeed a spectacular one.
